During the process of cell culture, regular testing can effectively prevent significant contamination by Mycoplasma. However, if the cell has been contaminated by Mycoplasma, it needs to be treated in a timely manner. The best treatment principle is to dispose of the cell after high-pressure sterilization to avoid contaminating other clean cell lines. If the contaminated cells are precious, mycoplasma contamination must be removed, which can be achieved by mixing antibiotics. Due to the lack of cell walls in Mycoplasma, traditional antibiotics are generally ineffective against it. This product is a mixed antibiotic formulation containing three components that have antibacterial effects on Mycoplasma, namely quinolones, tetracycline derivatives, and macrolide antibiotics, which can achieve good Mycoplasma clearance effect.
Usage method
1) Before use, ensure that the bottle cap is sealed, thaw to room temperature, mix gently in a vortex, and wipe the surface of the bottle with 70% ethanol before placing it on an ultra clean workbench.
2) Use kit as follows ™ Treatment of cells:
a. After dividing the contaminated cells, add 10 µ l to every 10mL of medium ™ Cultivate the treatment solution for 7 days, and add kit in the same proportion when changing the solution during this period ™ Treatment solution.
b. After 7 days of cell culture, change to a culture medium without mycoplasma clearance solution for 2 days. Take 10uL of cell culture supernatant for mycoplasma detection and observe the clearance effect.
Note: After processing, it is recommended to use the PCR Mycoplasma Detection Kit to test the removal effect of Mycoplasma.
Transportation and preservation methods
