Catalase

Catalase is a freeze-dried powder purified from bovine liver, with enzyme activity greater than 3kU/mg protein and molecular weight of 247kD. Catalase, also known as catalase, can catalyze the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide. It is a commonly used natural antioxidant enzyme used to study the role of reactive oxygen species in gene expression, cell apoptosis, and other processes. A catalase with one active unit can catalyze the decomposition of 1.0 micromoles of hydrogen peroxide per minute at 25 ℃, pH 7.0, and a hydrogen peroxide concentration of approximately 10mM.
