Goat serum for blocking (stock solution)
Blocking serum is suitable for sample blocking in immunohistochemistry (IHC) or immunofluorescence (IF) experiments. It can block non specific binding sites with proteins in the sample to be tested, as well as endogenous Fc fragment binding sites in the sample, blocking antibody binding to Fc receptors in the sample, thereby reducing background and false positives. When selecting a blocking serum, it should be noted that the blocking serum cannot contain the target protein and is different from the source of the first antibody. Blocking serum from the same source as the second antibody can be used.
Saving conditions:
-Stored at 20 ℃, valid for 5 years
Usage:
When using, dilute the sealed serum stock solution 10 or 20 times with PBS (0.01mol/LpH7.2-7.4), prepare it into a 10% or 5% working solution, and directly drip it onto tissue slices or cell smears. Incubate at 37 ℃ for 10-30 minutes to remove the serum, do not wash it, and drip an appropriately diluted primary antibody working solution. Incubate at 37 ℃ for 1-2 hours or 4 ℃ overnight.
Precautions:
If the primary antibody used is Goat derived (Goat anti -), please avoid using this blocking solution as it may cause more non-specific staining.
2. In order to achieve optimal results in the experiment, please adjust the dosage according to the experiment.
