This device is mainly used for intranasal drug‑administration studies on laboratory animals such as mice and rats. It delivers drugs in the form of micro‑volume sprays onto the nasal mucosa, allowing drugs to be absorbed nasally into the systemic circulation or to reach the central nervous system directly through the nose‑to‑brain pathway. It supports R&D of therapeutics for central nervous system disorders (e.g. neurodegenerative diseases), local intranasal delivery research, and evaluation of systemic drug‑delivery routes.

Thanks to precision engineering and an efficient operating mechanism, 90 % of generated aerosol particles are smaller than 30 μm. Liquid drugs are rapidly and uniformly converted into fine mist particles that distribute evenly within the nasal cavities of mice and rats, improving drug utilization and experimental accuracy.
Compatibility with multiple drug formulations
Suitable for solutions, small‑cell suspensions, homogeneous suspensions, low‑viscosity emulsions and other formulations. Minimum administered volume: 2 μL; atomization accuracy: 1 μL. It guarantees consistent and accurate dosing for every run and ensures experimental repeatability.
Design and materials
The needle is fabricated from imported stainless steel; the syringe barrel is made of borosilicate glass.
