SPECIFICATION

Introduction:

The SIM Blood Flow Imager has offered a real-time method for acquiring and record-ing the blood perfusion images, which is a key way to learn the pathological or physio-logical parameters of issue or organs for life science basic research and clinic research. SIM BFI imager has the specific advantages of non-contact, real-time imaging, high spa-cial resolution, large view field and no con-trast agent, which is based on the latest tech-nology of LASER SPECKLE CONTRAST IMAGING. The spacial resolution of the blood flow imaging could be up to millisec-ond level, and the temporal resolution could be up to micrometer level. By using SIM BFI imager, the distribution of the micro blood vessels and the relative change of the blood flow value can be observed and ana-lyzed, which is significant for doctors or re-searchers.

Performance Advantages:

◆ Acquire the blood flow images in real time with micrometer resolution, and advance the accuracy of the blood flow value by correcting the interference of static scattering or multiscattering.
◆ Analyze the blood flow mean value of the region of interest(ROI) and vessel diameter value online or offline, and analyze the blood flow mean value and standard deviation of the time of interest(TOI) offline, moreover, any shape and quantity of ROIs could be drawn, and the position and size of any ROI could be adjusted freely.
◆ The blood flow imaging speed could be achieve 60 fps even though in the condition of maximum pixels.

◆ The optical magnification could be read directly without calculation.
◆ Multi-format could be chosen for recording, like raw data/.jpg/.bmp/.png /.avi and so on .

◆ MACO Model
(a) Cerebral cortex blood flow maps of rats at different times after the preparation of MACO model, in which the red region indicated that the blood flow decreased to less than 20% of the normal value, the blue region indicated that the blood flow decreased to within 20-60% of the normal value, and the other regions indicated that the blood flow was still above 60% of the normal value; Collateral circulation was not observed in the severely ischemic cortex, but was observed in the normal cortex and the mildly ischemic area 15 minutes after the preparation of MCAO model.
