Strain preservation tube
Used for the preservation of bacteria, harsh bacteria, molds, yeast, and other bacterial species under normal and low temperature conditions. It is widely used in clinical fields (preservation of clinical drug sensitivity test strains), disease control fields (preservation of isolated strains monitored), strain preservation centers (daily collection and preservation of strains), and pharmaceutical enterprises (preservation and retrieval of positive control strains) and other fields.
The strain preservation tube adopts the porcelain bead low-temperature freezing preservation method. Adopting porous magnetic beads imported from Japan, without the need for acidification treatment, with uniform size and regular shape, ensuring that the loading rate of each bead is roughly the same. After special processing, the bacterial colony loading rate is higher.
Purpose and Description:
Strain preservation tubes can store general bacteria, harsh bacteria, fungi, yeast, and other fungi under low temperature conditions. Therefore, strain preservation tubes are widely used in clinical fields (preservation of clinical drug sensitivity test strains), disease control fields (preservation of isolated strains monitored) Areas such as strain preservation centers (daily collection and preservation of strains) and pharmaceutical companies (storage and retrieval of positive control strains).
The strain preservation tube adopts the porcelain bead low-temperature freezing preservation method. There are 25 small ceramic beads with concave holes on the surface inside the tube for bacterial adsorption and preservation, which can be used 25 times (one at a time) during the preservation cycle.
Low temperature environment provides a suitable state for long-term dormancy of excellent strains, such as dryness, low temperature, lack of oxygen and nutrients, which puts the microorganisms in a low metabolic activity state without causing death, thus achieving the purpose of preservation; After special treatment, the small porcelain beads are densely covered with concave holes on the outside, and the strain can firmly adsorb onto them; The preservation solution contains special low-temperature protective agents, which can reduce the impact of ice crystals on bacterial strains during the freezing process.
Adopting porous magnetic beads imported from Japan, without the need for acidification treatment, with uniform size and regular shape, ensuring that the loading rate of each bead is roughly the same. After special processing, the bacterial colony loading rate is higher.
Main ingredients:
Peptone, Brain Soaking Powder, Heart Soaking Powder, Glucose, Sodium Chloride, Disodium Hydrogen Phosphate, Glycerin.
Usage:
Strain preservation
1.Before use, use an oily whiteboard pen to mark the name of each strain on the preservation tube. Each strain preservation tube can only be inoculated with one strain.
2. Under sterile conditions, open the spiral bottle cap of the strain preservation tube.
3. Use an inoculation ring to pick fresh strains (18-24 hours) of pure culture and place them in a frozen storage solution. Tighten the bottle cap, invert it back and forth to emulsify the bacteria, and prepare a bacterial suspension with a turbidity of approximately 3-4 microns (usually a flat plate of pure culture can be stored in two tubes). At this time, the bacterial suspension will adsorb on the inner and outer surfaces of the small ceramic beads.
4. Use a sterile pipette to aspirate the bacterial suspension from the bacterial culture preservation tube as much as possible (the aspirated bacterial suspension should be placed in the disinfectant and subsequently subjected to high-pressure sterilization treatment).
5. Tighten the bottle cap and record the details of the inoculated strain.
6. Store the inoculated strain in a storage tube at -20 ℃ or -80 ℃ refrigerator.
