This product is an anti Taq monoclonal antibody suitable for Hot Start PCR. After binding with Taq DNA Polymerase, it reversibly blocks DNA polymerase activity, thereby inhibiting the production of non-specific PCR templates or primer dimers at ambient temperature before thermal cycling. The anti Taq monoclonal antibody has denatured in the initial DNA denaturation step of the PCR reaction, so there is no need for a hot start step.

SPECIFICATION

Product Description
This product is an anti Taq monoclonal antibody suitable for Hot Start PCR. After binding with Taq DNA Polymerase, it reversibly blocks DNA polymerase activity, thereby inhibiting the production of non-specific PCR templates or primer dimers at ambient temperature before thermal cycling. The anti Taq monoclonal antibody has denatured in the initial DNA denaturation step of the PCR reaction, so there is no need for a hot start step. After binding, a hot start Taq enzyme can be used under conventional PCR reaction conditions, making the operation of the Hot Start PCR reaction simple and fast. This product is applied to Hot Start PCR and can perform specific PCR reactions, multi temperature cycling under complex backgrounds, and specific amplification of low copy number target DNA, high GC content (>60%), secondary structure, and other genome amplification with strong background and large-scale genome amplification detection.
This product does not contain components such as glycerol that affect the freeze-drying process, and can be used for the preparation of freeze-drying reaction systems and product design.

Activity definition
The amount of antibody that inhibits over 95% of 1U Taq DNA Polymerase activity at 55 ℃ for 30 minutes is defined as 1U.

Quality control
After multiple column purification, SDS-PAGE gel detection only showed clear and single target bands, with a purity of 95%, and no contamination by RNase, nucleic acid endonucleases, and exonucleases.

Usage suggestions
Mix Taq DNA Polymerase and Taq Antibody in equal volumes (please be sure to use the original solution of this product), and let them stand at 20-25 ℃ for about 30 minutes;
PCR reactions can be carried out according to the conventional PCR reaction conditions of Taq DNA Polymerase using various PCR methods. After experimental confirmation, Taq antibody can be used in conjunction with Novoprotein's Taq DNA polymerase (Cat. No.: E001).
